Branding Photography In Maplewood, NJ

I recently had the opportunity to work again with the incredible team of women behind You & Them, a group of badass recruiters who specialize in connecting creative people with creative companies.

I always love photographing local businesses, especially when they’re run by smart, driven women who are deeply connected to the creative community. These three bring a ton of personality and energy to what they do, so it only made sense that their branding photography session reflected that same creative spirit.

Instead of a traditional headshot session, we leaned into something a little more dynamic…capturing images that show their personalities, their teamwork and the kind of approachable, thoughtful energy they bring to their clients and candidates. Plus we were fortunate to borrow amazing vintage chairs from Maplewood Mercantile.

Working with local talent here in the suburbs is one of my favorite parts of what I do. Sessions like this are a reminder that branding photography isn’t just about polished portraits. It’s much more about showing the people and personality behind a business.
