In-Home Newborn Session in Maplewood NJ

As a newborn and family photographer serving Maplewood and South Orange, many of my favorite sessions take place right in a family’s home. In-home newborn photography allows families to stay comfortable in their own space while capturing the quiet, meaningful moments that happen during those first days with a new baby. This sweet session in Maplewood was especially meaningful because I’ve been photographing this growing family since their very first maternity session.

Those early newborn days are a blur of feeding, burping, changing and trying to catch a little sleep in between. Having a newborn photographer come to your home allows you to simply be present with your baby while I capture the connection and love that already fills the room.

Sessions like this one are a big part of why I love offering in-home newborn photography for families in Maplewood and nearby South Orange. Being welcomed into a family’s home during those first days is always an honor, and documenting these early moments (especially as families grow from one child to two, or two to three) is some of the most meaningful photos that I get to take as a photographer.
