Family Photographer West Orange NJ | Fall Family Photos South Mountain Reservation

I want every session to feel fun, with lots of playing, laughing and time together. The best photos often happen when everyone is relaxed and just enjoying themselves. Keeping little kids moving is usually the best way to get those natural smiles and genuine interactions. With this sweet family, we played chasing games, ran around together and took plenty of cuddle breaks with mom and dad during this fall afternoon at Tulip Springs in West Orange, part of South Mountain Reservation.

The family wore the perfect shades of rust and brown that meshed well with the changing fall foliage, and the golden-hour light made things magical. This was my first time working with this family and I loved getting to know them while capturing their family of four.

I’ve photographed so many new families this year and getting messages like theirs makes it even more rewarding. When their gallery was ready, they said: “They are amazing, we love them!!”
