Branding Photographer Maplewood NJ | Shopkeeper Boutique

Just a block away from where I recently photographed Rini's colorful headshot session, one of my favorite new Maplewood businesses is quickly becoming a go-to spot for gifts, home goods, and accessories.

Shopkeeper is such a perfect addition to Maplewood. The shelves are filled with colorful things like pottery, candles, tea, enamelware, art books, jewelry, sunglasses, and unique gifts, all thoughtfully curated by owner Soufi Bergal. She has such an incredible eye for finding pieces you won't see everywhere else, and the best part? Everything in the store is under $100.

Photographing Soufi inside her shop was so easy. Between the beautiful natural light pouring through the Boyden Avenue window, the colorful displays, and her impeccable taste, every corner of the store made a perfect backdrop.

One of my favorite parts of being a branding photographer is getting to work with small local businesses. Every shop has its own personality, and I love helping owners show the person behind the business just as much as the products themselves.

As someone who lives and works in Maplewood, I'm always excited when a new business opens its doors. Supporting local entrepreneurs (who in turn are supporting local artisans) and watching our town continue to grow is one of the best parts of this job.
