As a maternity photographer serving Maplewood, South Orange and surrounding areas, I’m always drawn to sessions that reflect the feeling of the season they’re captured in. Early spring has a quiet, subtle beauty…not yet in full bloom, but full of promise. It felt like the perfect setting for a couple standing on the edge of a new chapter, waiting to meet their baby for the very first time.

I could tell Jessie and Angelo welcomed their new role as parents (to daughter Penelope) with the same warmth that shows throughout their colorful apartment. And it was great to spend the afternoon in Montclair listening to The Beatles and chatting with them during feedings. It's safe to say...they have parenting down pat and that always shows through in photos.
